Sycamore Review is an internationally acclaimed literary journal. It publishes poetry, fiction, and non-fiction, as well as interviews, book reviews and art.
It strives to publish the best writing by new and established writers and also to provide an online forum for lively literary discussion.
They accept submissions from September 1st to Match 31st. Submissions sent at other times will go unread.
Sycamore Review is looking for original poetry, fiction, non-fiction and art. They accept unsolicited submissions of fiction, poetry, and non-fiction.
Submissions are limited to one work at a time for fiction and non-fiction, and no more than five poems, which should be included in a single document. Do submit a .docx, .doc, or .rtf file and include a cover letter in the comments section. They would like to know a little bit about you and your work.
Additionally, if the submission is a prose piece, please designate the genre between fiction, non-fiction, or prose poetry/hybrid genre in the cover letter.
They do accept simultaneous submissions, but request prompt notification if the work is accepted elsewhere.
WHAT THEY PAY:
Sycamore Review pays each contributor $50 per short story or non-fiction piece,
And $25 per poem.
